Eco Stewardship Pvt. Ltd. is a leading third-party environmental and sustainability certifier based in India. We are pleased to offer auditing and certification services to clients in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, UAE and Egypt. We are an affiliate of Scientific Certification Systems Inc. (SCS Global Services), an international leader in certification and standards development for a sustainable future.

Efficacy

Administration of a standard intake and review process for sustainability claims creates consistency and quality throughout the entire process.  Eco Stewardship’s experience shows that standardization of procedures continually improves the efficacy and value of the program to the client and its customers.

Efficiency

Application of a clear, uniform process assessment of sustainability claims introduces efficiency into the review process, resulting in minimal intrusion into a client’s operations.

Economy

Our assessment programs are designed to be cost-effective while maintaining optimal technical rigor and efficiency.  Adding unnecessary cost burdens to a client is counterproductive to attaining maximum environmental benefits.

Our Partner

SCS Global Services was founded in 1984 as Ohlone Inc. and became Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) in 1988, a name which better communicated their efforts to implement rigorous science to the task of third-party certification of claims, paying attention to holistic, system-wide ramifications. In the year 2012, they became SCS Global Services, communicating the world-wide reach. Our partner company was reorganized as one of California’s first Benefit Corporations, a class of corporation that has a corporate purpose to create a material positive impact on society and the environment.

SCS Global Services has been providing global leadership in third-party environmental and sustainability certification, auditing, testing, and standards development for over 30 years, with programs spanning a wide cross-section of industries including green building, product manufacturing, food and agriculture, forestry, and retail. SCS is accredited to provide services under a wide range of nationally and internationally recognized certification programs. SCS is a chartered benefit corporation reflecting its commitment to socially and environmentally responsible business practices. As of now, they along with their partners have certified 44+ million acres of forest land under FSC Standard.
